McIlmoyle & Associates, Animal Nutritionist and Agricultural Consultants, was established in 1989 by Dr Alan McIlmoyle, having gained 16 years experience working in various sectors of the Northern Ireland agricultural industry. His early career was spent in ruminant research at the Agricultural Research Institute of Northern Ireland, after which he joined the animal feed industry where he spent 9 years with a multi-national animal nutrition company.
As a Fellow of the British Institute of Agricultural Consultants, Dr McIlmoyle has access to a network of specialists and experts covering all aspects of agricultural and horticultural production.
The consultancy provides fully independent advice to the agricultural industry, assisting farmers, veterinary practices and feed compounders and the legal profession in all aspects of livestock production, nutrition and management both locally and internationally. The business maintains its independent status by neither selling nor promoting any commercial products.
